Peggy Kouroumalos is an artist from Toronto, Ontario currently living in Montreal, Quebec. She studied drawing and painting at the Ontario College of Art + Design University and in 2015 graduated with an MFA at Concordia University.

Trained as an oil painter, she has recently expanded her work to include watercolour and ceramics, creating interchangeable symbols that form open-ended narratives exploring death, desire, and transformation. Her work blends ancient Greek mythology with references to film, literature, and historical art.

She has exhibited in Canada, the U.S. and Europe, has participated in international residencies and is a recipient of several grants.
